Ray Joyner is serving us after a tenure of over 30 years as an Elder of the Forrest Park congregation in Valdosta, GA. A graduate of the Atlanta School of Preaching, Ray began preaching the gospel in 1964 while serving in the Air Force in Vietnam. We use both the Old and New Testaments as the foundation for our faith and the inspiration for our daily lives. We understand the purpose of the Old Testament as a tutor to bring us into the New Testament era:
Galatians 3:19-27. We put those teachings into practice at home and at work.
Our congregation helped sponsor a family for a mission trip to Costa Rica with Latin American Missions.
A consistently growing attendance made it easy for us to add an evening bible study hour at 7:00 pm each Wednesday!
